About YCCE

 

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur, Established in 1984, is renowned for Engineering Education and Research. It has successfully nurtured young engineering professionals, becoming a sought-after destination for students aspiring to higher technical education and placement in the competitive software and core industries. A first private engineering college to acquire 'Autonomous' status in Central India approved by AICTE & is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. About Department of Electrical Engineering

 

The department of Electrical Engineering is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and NAAC. The department is one of the well established departments imparting quality education to UG (Electrical) and PG (Integrated Power Systems) programmes. The department also offers Ph.D. programme to promote research activities in the various areas of Electrical Engineering. The department has wide research publications in reputed International/National conferences as well as SCI index journals like IEEE Transactions, IET, Elesivier, Journal of Power Electronics, Taylor & Francis etc. The department is having well established laboratories with computing facility having software's like MATLAB, EMTDC/PSCAD, SKM Power Tools, VSIM, PSIM and CASPOC.

Nagpur, popularly known as the 'Orange City', is one of the fastest growing metropolis and the third largest city after Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra. The city is located on the eastern part of the state and is the geographical 'center' of India (country's 'Zero-Milestone' is located here).

G20 Nagpur

The G20 is a summit of the world's major economies that meets annually to discuss global economic issues.
The G-20 member countries and invited countries attended the three-day summit, which was held at the Hotel Radisson Blu on Wardha Road in the city from March 20 to 22, 2023.
The G20 summit was an important event for Nagpur, as it provided an opportunity for the city to showcase its economic progress and engage with other major world economies on issues such as trade, investment, and financial stability. The G20 has the potential to play an important role in shaping the global economic agenda, and a successful summit in Nagpur could help to strengthen India's position as a major player in the global economy.
