Call For Papers

1. Eligibility & Scope

• Submissions must present original, unpublished work related to the conference themes.
• Papers that have been submitted or published elsewhere will not be considered.

2. Language & Length

• Manuscripts must be written in English.
• Full papers: Maximum 8 pages (including figures, tables, and references) following the template. After 8 pages, ₹500/page will be charged, up to 10 pages only.

• Each submission will automatically receive a unique Paper ID.

5. Copyright & Permissions

• Authors must sign the publisher's Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) upon acceptance.
• It is the author's responsibility to secure permissions for any third-party material.

Official Paper Template

A single, consolidated template is provided in Word and LaTeX. The template includes these compulsory sections:

1. 01 Page size:A4, margins 2.5 cm (all around)
2. 02 Font: Times New Roman 10 pt (main text); 12 pt bold for headings

4. 04 Figures & tables: centred, numbered consecutively, caption below (figures) / above (tables)

Ethical & Integrity Standards

Camera Ready Verification

• Accepted papers undergo a final layout and reference check by the Editorial Office.
• Non-compliance with template or formatting will result in delays or removal from proceedings.

Presentation & Publication Requirements

• At least one author must register and present the paper (onsite or online) for inclusion in the proceedings.
• No-show papers will not be forwarded to the publisher.

ITSEMC-2026 is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous peer-review process. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure integrity, quality, and academic relevance.

Review Process

• Initial Screening: All manuscripts are checked for compliance with submission guidelines and scope. Plagiarism is screened using Turnitin (allowed similarity <15%). Content should not appear AI-generated.
• Double-Blind Review: Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Authors' and reviewers' identities are concealed from each other. A third reviewer is appointed in case of a significant conflict.
• Review Criteria: Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality and novelty, technical quality and methodological rigor, relevance to conference themes, clarity, structure and language quality, and references to recent relevant literature.
• Review Decisions: Each manuscript is assigned one of: Accept (Minor Revision), Revise & Resubmit (Major Revision), or Reject.
• Revision & Resubmission: Authors must address reviewer comments in a detailed response. Revised manuscripts undergo final editorial scrutiny before acceptance.

Reviewer Ethics & Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and neutrality throughout the review process.
• Disclose any conflict of interest to the editorial team.
• Provide constructive, evidence-based, and respectful feedback.
• Avoid using manuscript content for personal benefit.

Editorial Oversight

• All decisions are coordinated by the ITSEMC-2026 Editorial Committee.
• The Chief Editors ensure quality control and adherence to ethical standards.

Appeals & Re-Reviews

ITSEMC-2026 upholds strict ethical standards and does not tolerate plagiarism or academic misconduct in any form. All submissions must represent original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Plagiarism Screening Procedure

• Detection Tool: All manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin.
• Similarity Threshold: The acceptable similarity index is less than 15% (excluding references, quotes, and bibliography). Content should not appear AI-generated.
• Immediate Rejection: Submissions with similarity index >25% will be automatically rejected. Identified cases of copied content from previously published works (including self-plagiarism) will not be allowed.

Types of Academic Misconduct

• Direct plagiarism — copy-paste from other sources without citation
• Self-plagiarism — reusing own previously published work without proper referencing
• Fabrication or falsification of data
• Improper paraphrasing without attribution

Author Responsibilities

• Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism and properly cite all sources.
• Authors are required to declare that their submission is original and unpublished.
• If third-party content (figures, tables, etc.) is used, authors must obtain necessary copyright permissions.

Consequences of Plagiarism

Appeals Process

Authors who disagree with a plagiarism decision may appeal in writing within 7 days of notification. Appeals will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee, and their decision will be final.

Authors whose abstracts have been accepted for poster presentation must adhere to the following guidelines to ensure clarity, professionalism, and engagement during the poster sessions of ITSEMC-2026.

1. Poster Specifications

• Size: A1 (594 mm × 841 mm)
• Orientation: Portrait
• Material: Printed on high-quality paper or vinyl
• Font Sizes: Title ≥ 72 pt · Section Headers ≥ 36 pt · Body Text ≥ 24 pt (legible from 1.5 m)

2. Poster Content Structure

• Title — same as the submitted abstract
• Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
• Abstract or Objectives
• Methodology
• Results and Discussion
• References (if applicable)
• Acknowledgements (optional)

3. Design Recommendations

• Use clear headings, logical flow, and a visually appealing structure.
• Include charts, images, graphs, or models wherever possible.
• Ensure high contrast between background and text.
• Maintain consistency in fonts, colors, and alignment.

4. Mounting and Presentation

• Presenters must bring their printed posters to the venue.
• Posters must be mounted at the designated area at least 1 hour before the scheduled session.
• Each presenter must be available during their assigned session slot for interaction and Q&A.

5. Poster Session Conduct

• Posters will be evaluated on technical quality, visual appeal, and communication skills.
• Best Poster Awards will be given in select categories.
